The design also incorporates energy efficiency considerations, waterproofing strategies, and compliance with industry standards like FM Global, ASTM, NRCA, and local building codes.
SPECIFICATIONS
During specification development, we create detailed technical documents that define material requirements, installation methods, waterproofing details, wind uplift resistance, and fire safety classifications. These specifications outline the necessary components, including insulation type and thickness, attachment methods, fasteners, adhesives, and flashing details, ensuring consistency and quality control throughout the project. Additionally, specifications include warranty provisions and maintenance protocols to extend the roof’s service life and prevent premature failure.
BID
The bidding process is a critical step in securing a qualified contractor while maintaining cost control and quality assurance. We will prepare comprehensive bid documents, pre-qualify contractors based on licensing, experience, and financial stability, and facilitate pre-bid meetings to address contractor questions. Once bids are submitted, we will conduct a thorough review, comparing costs, compliance with specifications, warranty offerings, and overall contractor qualifications. By assisting in contractor selection and negotiations, we help ensure the project is executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.
